Irrigation Rules & Guidelines:
1. Ordering Your Water
Deadlines: Irrigation order deadlines are every Monday by 8:00 p.m. No changes or late additions will be accepted.
Schedules: Irrigation orders are posted by Thursday, detailing the date and time of your scheduled water delivery.
2. Managing Your Delivery
Open and Close Promptly: You must promptly open and close your ports at your scheduled times.
Retain Your Water: Every property owner is required to retain all irrigation water delivered to their property on their own property. Remember, you must accept all the water you ordered. If you cannot, you must make prior arrangements with a neighbor to take your excess.
Avoid Negligence: Overflowing the system due to a negligent act—such as opening only one port or failing to take your scheduled water—is strictly prohibited.
3. Drainage & Liability for Damages
Culvert Requirements: To ensure proper drainage, all lot owners must install a culvert of not less than 18 inches in any borrow ditch or easement along and adjacent to the property line.
Damage Responsibility: If the irrigation system overflows due to your negligence, you will be held financially responsible for repairs to any neighboring lot or Association road that has an adequate culvert and borrow ditch. Furthermore, you will share the responsibilities and expenses for damage to properties without adequate drainage. If a lot or road with an adequate ditch suffers damage, the owner who lost the water is responsible for the repairs.
4. Suspension of Privileges
Protect Your Rights: Please be aware that a lot owner who is in default of their Association assessments by more than thirty (30) days loses the right to water and all water delivery rights. Additionally, failure to correct any drainage damage for which you are responsible will result in the loss of irrigation privileges until the violation is completely cured.
